I started my blog at the wrong time, a few days before midterm season, when professors feel the need to overload their students with 10 page papers and essay exams that take hours of studying time. Thankfully, I finished most of my midterms (still have one more the day i get back from spring break) and my papers were all turned in, thank God!
As for my first “official/real” post, I decided to pick some of my favorite verses in the Quran to start my blog off on the right foot. In almost all Islamic events and occasions people usually begin with the words of God as it is considered the highest and best of all words and I feel my blog is no different.. so here are some of my favorite words.
Bismillahi Arrahman Arraheem (In the name of God, most gracious most merciful)
He is the One GOD; there is no other god beside Him. Knower of all secrets and declarations. He is the Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
He is the One GOD; there is no other god beside Him. The King, the Most Sacred, the Peace, the Most Faithful, the Supreme, the Almighty, the Most Powerful, the Most Dignified. GOD be glorified; far above having partners.
He is the One God; the Creator, the Initiator, the Designer. To Him belong the most beautiful names. Glorifying Him is everything in the heavens and the earth. He is the Almighty, Most Wise.
~Surat Al-Hashr (The Exodus) 22-24
